buxy... my doc told me "oh, are <b>you</b> irish. look at that rosacea." (WTF? i'm here for soon-to-be-potential-malignant-leg-moley-cancer-stuff) then, handed me some Rx cream, and sent me home... i used the stuff for a week and then threw it out. it made whatever non-existent pink-ness i may have had into a red, raging monster of icky.<br><br>
now, i look like my mother after her 1/2 pint of beer... <img alt="cry.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/cry.gif">

I went to get my first facial ever last week, and she had to cut the steam out b/c she said I had early stages of Rosacea. The steam was my favorite part. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><br><br>
My mom has used that Rx stuff too (Finacea?) and it did the same (red/itchy/etc.). Her Rosacea isn't bad either, just some redness and a few blood vessels, not the acne.<br><br>
And, fwiw, she's German...so it knows no cultural boundaries. <img alt="razz.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/razz.gif">

I'm here darling! The one redeeming thing about the downfall is the human spirit, which refuses to give up and die and fights on, in the face of obvious and total defeat.<br><br>
I noticed last night my lower gums are receding at an alarming rate on the bottom front, in back. I'm certain this makes me a total hottie.<br><br>
I plan to promote this as a sign of wisdom and stature in my village and expect to go unchallenged in my new leadership role.

Yeah, one of my good friends in college was chinese and had rosacea (fairly bad. She used special make up to cover it.)<br><br>
Actually, go to your dentist! This is a sign of gum disease! No kidding!!<br><br>
And, Witchy, my neck/face have broken out randomly lately and there are scabs where I picked at them. I feel so awful lately when I look in the mirror! If you figure out how to get rid of the random hairs, let me know. Those are driving me nuts, too!
