Went last night and I'm hooked.<br><br>
Question: After 5 short climbs I was wiped. Is this normal? Can I make it a workout or is it more of a hobby?

Climbing is a completely different beast...let me guess, your arms were wiped and today you're walking around like a T-Rex unwilling to extend your arms...happens to all of us those first few times.<br><br>
Can definitely make it a workout...did you go to an indoor gym last night? If so see if they have some beginner classes or check the local colleges/JCs/etc.<br><br>

It was the gym at my college. They have belay certification classes, but that's it.<br><br>
My arms are fine today, I can feel it when I try to lift something heavy (cases of paper, for example) but that's all. My butt feels it the most.
