<p>I'm enjoying an off day, as the office is closed.  Whee.  Too bad Pippin doesn't get this concept of sleeping in.  Ahh well.  I've had a fairly lazy morning, though I've done some cleaning, some laundry, and I've put all Christmas items up and in the storage shed.  (yep, once Christmas is over, the decorations gotta go!) </p>

<p>It's a cool, dreary day outside.  I'll probably get 3-5 on the TM later at some point.</p>

<p><strong>Prae</strong> - while I'm certainly not happy that your back hurts, i'll admit that the source of it made me smile. </p>

<p>I am recovering from a wonderful Christmas and trying to get some work done before we catch our flight to Orlando later this afternoon.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I got a nice 2 hour run in yesterday (14 miles) and will try to get an hour done today.  It will just depend on whether I have time or not since I haven't even started packing and still have a fair amount of work to do.</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Bard & Moonie</strong> - safe travels and enjoy this epic adventure and new start!</p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong>Brandy</strong> - I have 2 pairs of Under Armour tights and I LOVE them.  No drift, lightweight and they are pretty warm (but not too warm).  I received a pair of the CW-X tights for Christmas.  Holy cow they were hard to put on.  <strong>Missy</strong> - I got a size medium - there is NO WAY I could have gotten smalls on.  I wore them for my run yesterday, but I haven't decided whether I love them or not.</p>

<p>Happy Boxing Day to everyone.  And I hope Christmas was merry all around!</p>

<p>I didn't run yesterday, but I did get out today for a halfway decent tempo-ish run.  The average pace was faster than all my pseudo-tempo runs lately, but it was rather inconsistent.  Meh, it is what it is.  I guess I'm in taper time now, since hte Phoenix marathon is less than three weeks away...</p>

<p>Mindi - I lurve the CWX tights.  They are hard to get on (it gets easier) and they'll grow on ya.  The only thing i don't like about them is the key pocket.  WHo the dumb frack was who decided the hip bone was a good location in skin tight compression tights is a MAROON.</p>

<p>I did return the UA tights. Even with the non drift, they were quite long and I wasn't sure I would like that. I used the store credit on some jeans that actually fit. </p>

<p>Ran 3 this morning, 3 just now after i got back home and I am about to do shred.  Amazingly I didn't gain any weight this week. We had well over 4 dozen cookies, choc covered pretzels, caramel rolls, sweet bread, cheesecake plus drinks...so I am just elated.</p>

<p>Yowzer.  Long day today.  I helped my folks shop for furniture with DS in tow.  Not a brilliant plan!   We also went to say We Bought A Zoo.  The adults and DD liked it, but it didn't keep DS's attention.   </p>

<p>Almost forgot - I did go to the gym this morning.  45 min on the elliptical and some extra time in the true stretch.    Not too bad, considering how much car time and extra goodies I've had the last few days.  One more road trip for us Wed - Fri, then things might calm down for a bit.  Maybe.</p>
