Happy Monday!!!

How did everyone do last week?? The scale will reveal for me tomorrow and I am dreading it!! I am back on track today. My only huge obstacle is that I leave for Seattle on Thursday. YIKES!!!!! That will probably be a diet killer right there!

Take care and have a great week!

I had my first clif bar the other day it was good. I keep forgetting to get more! Tried a new Kashi Cereal today and it was a bit easier on my teeth!! They look like Cheerios and they were pretty tasty. Bought them at Costco yesterday.

Weigh In tomorrow!

It wasn't pretty. A weekend of junk left me at 1.4 over last week. My first setback, The giant slice of birthday cake and scoop of ice cream at midnight last night did not help matters. I probably could have come in at the same weight as last week without it. Just extra incentive to have a good week.

OK - I think my scale is messing with me. I barely ate for 3 days and yesterday the scale said I was down 3.5 - today it is saying I stayed the same. How did I gain 3.5 lbs yesterday? So I guess the official result is 0 change even after being sick.

Good morning, ya'll!

The scale ain't moving. I just may have had things all wrong, though. I started this latest regimen of running 3-4 days a week then cross-training with weights 2-3 days. Diet pretty much stayed the same. Seems like something in the way of loss should have happened, but nothing did.

So, back to dailyplate. My problem is I can get a bit obsessive about tracking food because I'm all "okay, what can I have next? what should I shop for?" and it starts occupying me. I need a middle ground.

Laura - I think all of the scales have a conspiracy going and they are all lying to us! I know it is frustrating but it does take time. And even if we are not getting the reading on the scale we want, we are making better choices that we will hopefull stick with and that will make us healthier. And I think at the end of the day, that is what we all really care about.

Andi - that has happened to me before. Don't use this week as a basis for anything. What happens when you are sick is that afterwards, your body is SO STARVED for nutrients, it will hang on to EVERYTHING. Give your body a chance to adjust. You are GORGEOUS weather you are up 3 lbs or down 3 lbs!

OK. I am with you guys on the scales being screwy. My weight has been ALL over the place!! I am down 2 lbs from last week which makes NO SENSE at all. I ate TOTAL CRAP last week and had a cut back week for running. The magnetic pull of the earth's poles must off or something is wrong w/ the orbit of the moon. All I know is that I REALLY need to eat HEALTHIER and SOON. OK. Off to throw away all of the crap food in this house.....

I just have to share this w/ you guys b/c it is so weird.

Week 1 = 168.5
Week 2 = 162.5
Week 3 = 163.5
Week 4 = 162
Week 5 = 165
Week 6 = 163

Seriously - is that amount of fluctuation normal? I really am starting to question my scale.....

I'm down 1/2 a pound from last weeks weight in- amazingly so. I ate like crap last week and didn't drink enough water the past few days. That being said I was down a pound after the weigh in, so technically I'm up 1/2 a pound.

Andi- I agree with Nicole. I bet your body is hanging on to everything it can after you were so sick. I hope you're feeling better.

well I'm back down the half pound I went up last week so little yay but I think you summed what I'm doing up perfectly Laura. I have upped my exercise but really havent' done too much changing on the eating habits so I guess I shouldn't be expecting miracles. I need to find that middle ground too. That's why I havent' been faithfully logging in my eating too.

So today starts today.

Nicole- mine does crazy things too, not that extreme though. How do your clothes fit? I can usually predict what the scale is going to say before I get on it by looking at my good old belly.

I will be PMSing in a day or so and DH is going out of town for 5 days...I'm really scared I'll give in to the temptation of cheese and chocolate (especially since I won't be working while he's out of town).
