Hi all!

SB - I just saw the pics of the flooding near you and WOW! How scary! (I was amazed at how flat the land is around you) I hope that you are all safe and that the flood waters subside soon.

I hate taper weeks and yesterday I decided to go run a hilly route to get rid of some of my energy. It was a good run and it's running skirt weather here lately!

Hope you all are doing well! Gotta get kid 1 on the bus.

Hey Paul! Happy Wednesday. Did you run outside this morning? I am going to do a short run on the TM later because the weather here is supposed to be nasty. I don't know if I'm ready to rock on Monday but I'm ready to have fun! I had to let go of any time goal long ago so it's all about enjoying the run and having a good time. My wave doesn't start until 10:40 which is so late! I know JB will be done hours before me so hopefully I can still meet up with you guys. Do you have any interest in doing one of those obstacle course races (I can never remember the name of it!) this summer? I really want to find a race that us NE'rs can do together. Do you know of any good races that we could all meet at? I'm up for anything - obstacle course, 10k, HM and possibly a 5k if there is a lot of beer and food at the end (I hate 5ks!)

Good morning! Cross fit this morning. It was a really tough workout. I am hoping to squeeze in a run later but the kids have ccd and it's only an ice cream party, which won't give me a lot of time, and dd has cheet tryouts. I forgot to take something out for dinner too so I need to figure that out.

Sisu - You are so ready for Monday! I wish I could come in for the race but this company doesn't give us the holiday. We only get the bigs one off when the liquor stores are closed. :(

Suds - Nice work this morning! It is nasty out there today. I'm glad I didn't have to run in it!

Hi Andi! Nice job getting the workout done! Man, you have a busy schedule!

Hi Amber, glad you had a nice run! I'll have to check out that race, free beer is always a plus!

Sisu, I agree. We need a good race and beer blast. Time to scope out Portland and a few others and see what we can come up with. As for Monday, I'll be heading into Boston around noon and will be there for the rest of the day. Will you be returning into Boston after the race?

Hi all! Just popping in for a quick second. I am getting ready to go to a training day for my new part time job at Macy's. Hopefully it will be a decent job. It will be nice to bring in a little extra income.

I ran 5 miles yesterday, and I guess I'm not going to run today, unless I feel the urge after 7:00 when I get done with training.

Amber - Lucky girl, not having to cook. I cook every meal. My dh burns water! I will either stick a roast in the oven (it can cook while I am out driving the kids around) or whip up a batch of chili.

Fer - have fun at training.

Ugh. I didn't get to start training today because somehow my birth certificate has disappeared, and my social security card is in Idaho. They won't enroll me into the computer system until I have something. I went through every single paper in this house (threw a way a bunch of junk, too LOL). So, I ordered another b.c. and then went to the s.s office. I have a receipt from them showing that it is my s.s. number, and that I will have a new one in 2 weeks, but I'm not sure if that will be enough or not. I just called the office at Macy's but I had to leave a message. Kind of a bummer!

Amber-I am going to be in place until Sept (the girls will be here as soon as school gets out) so I can work uninterrupted for a little while and then I am hoping maybe this will be a flexible enough schedule that I can work around it, but we will see.
