Good morning from the land of ice, snow and FRIGID temps!! a balmy -15* below zero this morning with a wind chill of -37* below zero making if feel like the later temp!! School started on time...I hate the thought of the the poor kiddos that have to stand outside waiting for bus pickup or worse yet, the kids that walk to school! :( too cold!

No running in a wk....sick kids for teh last 2 wks, frigid temps have made it hard to get the motivation to even go outside to drive to gym and then we ended up with the flu oover the wkend!! :( Still not feeling great today (weak) and we have BB game tonight so will most likely run tomorrow!! The roads here are so icy (esp intersections) and the intersections piled high with snow that outside running is dangerous!!

Nice 6 this morning ANDI!! I agree summer cant come quick enough!!
HI Amber! I saw on FB the kids will get out early!! hope you get your stuff done! :)

Hoping to get a little yoga in this afternoon...having the aches and chills with the flu made me tense up when sleeping and now i have a sore hip...this 40yo shit really sucks! :) HAPPY TUESDAY!!

Morning my running friends. It was abusy weekend with baseball. It didn't even seem like a holiday weekend. I felt bad for the other kids who were not playing. The boys played well and won their bracket so they got some cools rings. Problem was he punched his younger brother in the stomach when we got home and his ring got taken away. I am not liking junior high.

I hope to work out tonight.

I hear you all about the weather. We are going to lose are 80 degree temps at the end of the week when it will only be in the 70's.

During the hockey tournament the kids played at 2 different rinks. One was at the Boys and Girls club. It was a pretty run down rink (on the 3rd floor of the building, no less). The other was a gorgeous rink at a school. The kids said it was the best ice they've ever skated on. I looked up the school and the tuition is 45,900 (with room and board)!!! Geez, I can't even imagine having enough $ to send my kid to a high school like that.

Hi all!

Staci - that is COLD!! Sorry you've had sick kids :( Hope you got to do some yoga and that your hip feels better soon.

Amber - my kids had school all day. We've never gotten let out early for snow that I remember! It was nasty out there and the bus was late for both drop offs. I wonder if we'll have school tomorrow? How is the PF? I hope that the VFF help you out with it and that you are done with PF for good soon!

Ron - I have no sympathy for your weather!! Did one of your boys punch the other one in the stomach? I'm dreading junior high! Hope you are able to stay warm in those frigid 70 deg temps.

No run for me today because I had an appt with my chiro. He worked on my IT band and hip flexor or whatever else. There were a few awkward stretching moves but hopefully they'll work!
