Hey!! Happy Monday!

Hope you had fun at the game, Sudsy! My dh was there, too. Was it cold? :)

The countdown is on and I have to say that I will be happy and relieved when Christmas is over. When did I become such a humbug? :)

Good morning Sisu! I had a great time at the game! It actually wasn't cold enough for me. I went there dressed for blustery weather and it wasn't bad at all. Tailgaiting was great-we had an enclosed tent with a heater and were toasty warm. We actually had to take off our jackets!

Hope DH had a good time, the game was a nail biter!

I'm right there with you on the Christmas crunch.

Glad you had fun, Sudsy! Sounds like you were tailgating in style!

Yes, the tree is tall and the kids think it's great! We went to this small local xmas tree place (that was really just someone's back yard) and there were no small trees that weren't Charlie Brown trees so we went big :) It was a little over 13' tall when we measured it at home so we had to cut it down a bit. Our van looked kind of like the Griswold's car on the way home with their tree (minus the root ball and dirt!)

Good morning! Just lifting this morning since I ran out of time.

Suds - I'm glad you had fun at the game.

Sisu - Wow, that's a huge tree. That would never fit in my house.

I am a complete scrooge. I really hate the holidays the last few years. We still have not decorated the tree. It has lights and a few ornamnents the kids have received this year and that is it. I still have a ton of shopping to do and no time to do it. Some people will be getting envelopes with cash this year I think. Oh well, I did the best I could under the circumstances.

Morning my running friends. I hope to work out a little today. Jennifer and the kids are hanging out with my parents today so I wouldn't have to drive as much the next two days.

It is too bad that we are all so busy this time of the year. It would be nicer to relax a little more and enjoy the holidays.

Susan I wish we got a big tree like that. I get the biggest tree we can get where the kids can decorate it with out a ladder.

Paul glad you had fun at the game. The Bengals are winning just enough games to keep them from have to spend a ton of money on the number 1 pick in the draft.

Andi we still have a few presents to buy but I think I know what we are getting.

Andi - I'm with you I'm a total humbug. Christmas has been full of stress for me for the last few years and I totally dread it. On top of xmas, it's also dh's bday Wednesday and ds's on xmas day. Then dd9 has a birthday right after New Years. It's non stop and I always feel like I'm disappointing my kids.

Yes, the tree is huge!! It was dirt cheap for a xmas tree and the kids love it. I like a small tree but they picked this one out. (My dh is totally Clark Griswold so this tree is perfect for him)

Susan that is a lot of celebrating to do. I am glad no one in my family has any birthdays in December and January. Did you cut the tree yourself? I have always wanted to do that.

Sisu - Wow, that's a lot of birthdays in the next couple of weeks. I thought it was a hassle to have mine and dh's in December but you definately have it worse.

Ron - We've never cut our own tree either even though there are some tree farms in the area.
