Hi Amber - the trail races I signed up for are the first and third in the series of three at Bradbury mountain. I'd love to do all three but the 9mile race is on the same day as a 10k I'm doing as part of a relay with my dh. They do sound tough but I'm looking forward to doing something different. I signed up for the full marathon at Smuttynose but not sure whether I'll be doing the half or full yet.

I might actually run today! I think I'm feeling a bit better and it's going to be nice. Gotta go get the second round of kids up for school!

Good morning Sisu! Enjoy your run later! Plenty of time to get ready for the full, I may need some help in October!

Had a nice 10 this morning, although I was absolutely SOAKED with sweat. My shoes were so wet I don't think they'll be dry by tomorrow.

I have a 5k coming up on June 5th that my work is a sponsor of. It's the first time that I'm running this one and a couple of other employees are running it also (including the owner). Hopefully It will be a nice day.

Then towards the end of June I have another 5k, a 5 miler and a 10k all within 7 days of each other.

Should be a good week.

Good morning! I slept in this morning and will do my 3 while dd is @ lax practice. That is the last run before the marathon! Yikes. I am feeling better today. Everyone at work has gotten this cold and it has lasted 2-3 weeks but it seems it will be quicker for me. Gotta love the robust immune system!

Suds - woo hoo - 10 before work is awesome! I am thinking of the smuttynose too. I want to see how this weekend goes before I decide on the full or half.

Amber - Trail races sound fun. I hope to start running the trails once a week with the dog now that marathon training is over (for now).

Sisu - I am glad you are feeling better. Have a great run!

Sb - I hear you on the running around. I get home around 4:30 and ds10 has to be at the field by 4:30 for his games and dh isn't always available. It is budget season so he has LOTS of meetings right now. As a matter of fact, I have no idea what we will eat tonight!

Andi...its tough isnt it!! I feel like we are never home and when I am I am constantly trying to get stuff done!! yesterday I made a 5lb pork loin & shredded it...so tonight I am making a barbeque flat bread pizza with the pork (practice night/no game) and tomorrow (early game night) I will just have the meat in the crock pot and we will have pulled pork sandwiches quick before we leave...trying to be organized and planning ahead right now...sick of fast food, subway and pizzas! and sick of spending the $$ on eating that crap!! :) WHOOO HOOO MARATHON WEEK!!

Sb - I try to be organized and cook ahead as well. We've been so busy lately with activities and I've had appointments on my days off (volunteer work, grandma's dr appt, etc) so I haven't been grocery shopping in a couple of weeks. We've run in for bread, eggs, milk but the freezer is just about empty.
