Mom- have fun going over the river and thru the woods<br><br>
Yesterday I got in a nice 5 Miler, and Thursday I did 4.5 xc miles with the group<br><br>
Today I guess I'm gonna do a hybrid run 4 miles road/ 6 trail. I feel the icy-fingered grip of a running slump clawing at me... I'm trying to fight it.

<p>Nothing for me today.  My right knee is in pain.  It hurts just to touch it.  Don't know what I did; I was standing at the soccer field watching the game when my knee started to hurt.  Hasn't improved at all in two days.  Hmmmm!  The bottom of both feet still hurt from the ironman.  I can ignore that though.</p>

<p><strong>Dave</strong> -- Yikes.  I find knee pain comes and goes.  Hope yours goes.  I'm just so proud of your IM accomplishment.  Told lots of people about it many times. </p>

<p>A nice 8.25 miles this morning.  Could have gone longer, but needed to go home and get a drink.</p>

<p>BBS-  I think a cut back or some rest would be nice.  I surely needed some of both this week.</p>
<p>Dave-  Hope the knee starts to feel better.</p>

<p>Got out for aan easy 10k on my normal route.  That was after I hit packet pick up for the Chicago HM tomorrow; and a visit to the doctor to see what's up with the welt on my back.  They "think" it's an infected spider bite.. antibiotics and a tetanus shot...  The HM curse is yet again upon me.  Have to see how I feel as to whether it's a race or long tempo run.  Ahhhh!</p>

<p>I went with yet another new group, a 6:30am bunch this morning.   Was planning on an easy 8.5 miler, but went out with the first wave and wound up doing 10 miles at 7:50 pace, basically a marathon pace run.  So much for schedules, I was going to do the last 4 of the 20 tomorrow at MP, but now I'll just do it all easy.   </p>

<p>Nice runs & rides, all and hope the knee's okay <strong>dave</strong>.   Have a fun rest of the weekend.</p>

<p>BBS- I feel your pain.  The closer I get to a year on this streak, the less I feel like doing it.</p>
