<p>For the youngun's on here, Elizabeth Taylor may only barely recognize her name, but for those in my generation she's one more of the early film goddesses gone to enternal rest.   She was 79.</p>

<p>Well, I grew up with the big haired... divorced, no married, no divorced, no married Liz..</p>

<p>However I remember a few years back coming across some of her photos from her younger days.</p>

<p>I still cry when I watch National Velvet, one of her first films. She was a very beautiful star, slightly diminished by photos published of her when she was ill in recent years, but her beauty will linger on, as in the picture in the post above from Theia.... RIP</p>
