Between 25 and 30 years away.

Barring total and complete disaster, I should be ready, financially. Otherwise, I must depend upon the kindess of others. But that may be good for me.

No relocation. I'm where I want to be forever.

I don't think I'd want to take another job. Younger workers would need it.

I'll spend my time herding poodles. Not a euphemism.

Will you relocate? I dunno - we have our vacation house that we think will be our retirement home until we can't handle it anymore, but then we'd have to relocate again. Not sure how we'll work this out.

Where to? I presume we will bounce back and forth between SoCal and Yosemite

will you be ready? I think so. If not the number above gets bigger. Now - it's all about funding college.

this is possibly my last [36th] year of teaching

ready or not, here I come

nope: this is our home...love it...we'll stay here and travel

another job? doubt it, but I'm already having the admin and staff beg me to hire back as a literacy queen or RTI tutor

spend time with volunteer work, travel, GARDENING, and anything else that crosses my path

ETA: DH may also be retiring at the end of this school year. If he drives me fucking nuts, I'll either force him to wear a little red vest and work at ACE hardware or have to kill him. No middle ground with this discussion. <he's already turning into a boring old man >

How will you spend your time? Travelling, running, reading, playing computer games, volunteering. Mr jebba has mentioned doing Doctors Without Borders when he retires. I'd like to try that for a year or two.
