I have had it done. I got a leg massage/reflexology after my first marathon. It felt really good, but I only got it done once and thus have nothing constructive to say really.
she charges like $60 an hour and $30 for a half hour.

but i want to run the stinkin marathon. arrggg
You should get myofascial release on your foot. It was originally developed to treat PF. It really basically cured mine. That + orthotics + good work shoes.

www.myofascialrelease.com you can find the # for the paoli, pa clinic and call them and ask them for a referral in your area.
BG, reflexology is like working on areas of your body, through your foot. It correlates areas of your body with your foot... It's not treating your foot... I agree with merigayle... find somebody who does ART or a good PT that has a good release technique.
I also agree with meri. The money you spend on the right kind of massage will go farther in helping your foot.

I've had PF symptoms as a result of a foot sprain off and on since March. Massage has been the tool that seems to have helped mange it the most -- specifically the cross-friction massage I got in PT.
