For those looking for some motivation during the winter blahs here you go. I will not be doing the gold level but maybe the bronze.

http://teamraceathlete.weebly.com/index.html

I bet you could do it, 3 miles in 3 days or a week is doable. Remember it doesn't have to be fast.

update from the site---doesnt cost money--and the moderator (and I think the person behind the site) is trying to get sponsors and donations, so all people participating will get a "gift" (not just the 2 top people).....if that is any incentive?

Yeah, my bday is the end of March, too.

But there is no way I'm swimming 3 miles, running 10, and biking 30 all in one day. I'm just not that in shape, plus I have to work that day!

But maybe the week prior...

I can't even fathom swimming 3 miles.

The bronze challenge sounds like a good one. That's always a hard week for me though because the Timberman falls during or right before and I am also on vacation (mid/late August). Maybe I will make the bronze my goal for the last week of hard training before my b-day/Timberman. Training hard for and doing well at Timberman is now usually my b-day present.

Mine:
Swim: 3mi
Run: 8mi
Bike: 38mi

Someone ask Sheldon if I'm allowed. I'm afraid now that I told him I won't put on a suit for 1500 meters.

Right now, as it prints it squeeeeeks like fingernails on a chalk board.

It's 10 yrs old (at least) for criminey's sakes! It's geriatric in printer years.
