Have people started reading The World Without Us? Will we be ready to discuss around March 20? ecodork will start a thread for the discussion on or about March 20 if people will be ready by that time.

I will finish reading it tonight or tomorrow morning depending on distractions. I look forward to the discussion.

I have started........maybe 3 chapters in. I don't read so much in the winter but have been bringing it to work and read one day at lunch.

It's level of being interesting comes and goes but it's worth finishing.

I haven't started it yet (don't have it yet even) but will probably start this weekend, once I get it. I expect to be able to finish it in time unless it's mind-numbingly boring. I don't think it will be.

We will miss your input on the first one but the exam definitely takes precedence.

I am just not enjoying this at all. For me, it's like reading an instruction manual. I don't have a little scientific brain. I keep finding myself doing that thing where I'm reading, but then my mind wanders off and I find I've just been staring at the same page for several minutes.

I've just started on plastics. It's hard to read just before I go to sleep. I think I read 2 pages the other night, and then it was snooze-ville for me.

I think this weekend will see it finished.
