Wow.

Just Wow. You are all so impressive! There are folks who are starting from scratch and making noticeable gains every day. There are people who keep at it, day in, and day out. And then, there are people like Patrick and Hally, who are leading the way to a donation to the Flat-Coated Retriever Foundation. These two are leading both the Week 2 standings and the overall counts. Please give 'em a hand.

http://members.shaw.ca/arfenarf/runn...pChallenge.htm

This is our last week, everyone! Keep up the good work!

I think Patrick and Hally should have to arm-wrestle for the overall title this week. I'll just sit in a poofy chair and watch while eating yam wraps and Nanaimo bars.

Everyone's doing really well. It's great to see the progress being made over just a short time.

MS, thanks for this challenge. It's been a goodie, even for a Fits-and-Starts type (like me).

Aaaw, Skip... and you were on a roll!

I must apologise to poor Fortunate One, whose very fine pushups and pullups last week were missed. Thank you for Formatting for the Boneheaded this week.

I'm trying to decide whether to give it just one more go and see whether my shoulder will allow me to overtake the woman who has been on vacation for the last two weeks of the challenge. Nothing like setting your targets strategically low.

Updated.

(Edited to add the Gratuitous FCR Picture of the Day, a half-sibling of my dog, Hamish)

Another update for everyone. And another gratuitous Flatcoat picture.

Closing days! Millbot is creeping ahead of The Duck! Pectorals everywhere are getting stronger!

Thanks Sal, I skipped yesterday but today's a strength day anyway so will get some more. I can't see the pics here at work but that little guy from the other day is a sweetie. Can't wait to get home and see this one.

Aija has burst to the front of the Wimmin with an astounding workout that would leave ordinary mortals quivering like Jell-o. (I arbitrarily adjusted for the counterweight. Not like it mattered anyway) Aija, we'd like a report on your ability to lift your arms above shoulder height this afternoon, please. Patrick continues to dominate the men's standings, but there's a very interesting situation setting up amongst the mid-packers.

Consistency has been the key - those who get out and do a little bit for their body every day have really risen to the top. Special kudos today to Robin, who is systematically increasing her load every few days. Yay! CAJ, let's have a few more plank-ers from you, dahlink.

An FCR named JR who is famous for his rumpled good looks:

"What?!?"

YIKES!! Where did THAT number come from sheeeeesh.
Aija is an ANIMAL

OK I protest.
That 144 was on the gravitron on 15% body weight. Those should not count full or even half. I do dips and pullups on that thing too and have not counted any of them.

Just saying.

I know Hally. It isn't the same as unassisted and I am fine with whatever the powers that be decree. I'll replace them with push ups if you prefer

I am merely the recorder. Hally, Aija: I commend to you this task - please negotiate an acceptable score for the assisted part of the w/o via PM (or public brawling if you'd prefer) and I'll write the number down.

I don't think they should count at all.
No fighting, my opinion. Had I known we could do assisted I could have worked plenty of them in as well and actually did do assisted dips several workouts over the past few weeks. How many? I didn't bother keeping track.
