Any healing tips? (Back of my thigh)<br><br>
I normally heal VERY fast so it shouldn't be long, but I had an awsome week last week so I'm being impatient!

is it your hamstring?<br><br>
rest, ibuprofen and rolling (foam roller, tennis ball) will do wonders. and if you can stand it, some light stretching<br><br>
even better, go get yourself a massage

How do you stretch that one?

good hamstring stetch:<br><br>
put your sore leg out in front of you, with your heel on the ground (you can also put your foot up on a taller surface, like on a step)<br>
stick your butt out behind you up and away from your outthrust heel as much as possible. you'll feel a stretch along the entire length of your leg, especially your hamstring<br><br>
lay on your back with both legs straight<br>
pull your sore leg up and in towards you with your knee straight but not locked. pull as far as you can without pain. you can improve the stretch if you have bands like therabands or even a rope to place behind your leg, then pull the rope in towards you<br><br>
then find a cute masseuse <img alt="wink.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif">

My hams are in serious need, thanks I tried your lying stretch.<br><br>
Additionally, I use Dev's standing heel on ground stretch while sitting at the computer. Each leg 30 seconds x 1-2/day. What little it helps, it helps.<br><br>

Definitely err on the side of lightness with any stretching you do, and be very warmed up before you do it.<br><br>
If you keep running, all running should be easy right now. If it aches after, sit on an ice pack. That will feel really good and relieve pain & inflammation.

Running is out, I got about 90 seconds in yesterday <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><br><br>
I did stretch them and they feel a lot better today, I'll see how they're feeling tonight and perhaps try something gentle.<br><br>

good to hear, I was just going to second SGH. you have to be careful with stretching after a quick onset of pain as it might be a tear and stretching will worsen it.
