Anyone interested? A postal match is a shooting compitition. We'll pick an event (25 yard pistol slowfire for example) and shoot that at your local range. We then send the targets to the designated scorer who then tallies the scores and determines the winner.<br><br>
25 yard pistol slowfire would be my recommendation. Indoor ranges are common, and many of them rent pistols for those interested but don't own a gun.

Why is shooting with a pistol called a postal match? Shouldn't it be called a pistol match?

It may be because the targets are mailed (through the postal system).
