Now that I'm finally at home and no longer at my dastardly horrible job , I'm having a problem staying logged on here ... seems I get booted out after a few minutes so have to relog in often if I want to respond to anyone's post. For sure, I can still browse and read, but it's a real pain having to log in constantly each time I want to post ...

Does anyone else have this problem? As well, if I open up another page of KR for the Canadian Contingent posts so I can keep up with that and MS at the same time, even if I am logged in on MS, I have to log in again since the KR system doesn't recognize me anymore ... HUH?

I'm having the opposite problem. KR won't let me log out (for example, while I'm at work and don't want anyone to be able to see my username and post count).

Hey Sally - I think it's the way the system is designed (maybe to save on bandwidth? Not 100% sure about that - the admin would know better.)

The good thing now as opposed to when I first joined up is that the stuff you type isn't lost anymore when the system times you out. That was the true annoyance for me as opposed to the system timing you out.

To prevent timing out on longer posts, I've learned to hit the preview post button to reset the system time out function

Jkaiser, does this mean once you log in, you stay logged in until you log out? What is your time-out? Does anyone know if there is a setting for this?

I only have problems like that when I log in at work. I finally took the hint and so now I don't get to log in during the day any more I have no problem on my home computer.

No problems at home or at work for me. Haven't had to log in from either computer since the first time - wouldn't even know my password if I had to!

I can stay logged on but threads are acting weird. Some of them show up as read when I know I haven't read them.

Here I am loggin in once again to post ... sigh ...

I don't think I have any anti-spy software, just using the Microsoft XP firewall and some anti-pop up stuff from both XP and Google. Anyone else have any ideas?
