I have always wanted to try one of those. I like the idea of the shorter sprint races. Very cool. Those multi-day races are daunting to me, not because of the length, I've no problem with that. Nor because of the orienteering, I'm pretty good at that. My problem is, I have a great need for regular sleep. Unless I had very kind, strong teammates who were willing to carry me on a pallet, at least from midnight to 4:30am, I don't think I could do it. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> Also why, although I am fascinated by the RAAM, I just couldn't do it. Grabbing 30 minutes to a couple of hours of sleep per day for a week or so? The hell you say! I can manage on far less than 8 hours when I have to, but I need a few hours strung together. A sprint is doable.
