Hi all,

While March was a better month for me, it was still an awful month compared to where I have been. I was getting over the bruised ribs, and hurt an ankle late in the month.

Summary Run Report
For the period: 03/01/2008 to 03/31/2008

Just A Run
Miles: 81.8 Time: 12:28:13.3 Avg: 00:09:08.8

Grand Total
Miles: 81.8 Time: 12:28:13.3 Avg: 00:09:08.8

Races
306.3 miles for this year, I'm over 200 miles behind last year. Injuries suck.

93.55 miles running for March. I planned to run 100. In a very positive change, I'm doing my long runs and skipping very short workouts during the week. It used to be the other way around.

I'm now at 177.94 miles for 2008.

I working with my son on Couch to 5K. We've done Week 5 Day 1 so far. I hope we can do Week 5 Day 2 tonight.

No races yet after my disaster in January. Maybe in April.

March Running:
Miles: 161
Avg Pace: 7:40mpm
# Runs: 27
Avg Miles per run: 6 miles

Shorter races equates to shorts run in my training plan. Still I had a PR on the # of runs. A couple of doubles helped. If all goes to plan, I "should" be ramping up my mileage during April and May.

YTD: 465 Miles.
It seems that my yearly total equates to a month of running for Flounder and Alan...

Races YTD:
167...should've had about 5-10 more miles if I was at my goal mileage (40mpw). Easily my worst feeling month...had way more bad days than usual. Also slower pace average. I think the density of training finally caught up with me...another reason for me to see that this 2.5 day break was a good idea. I think tomorrow I'll skip the workout and just go easy and just get my Q1 workout and long run in this week.
