Your favourites either at home or away, or just ones that have tantalized you.

Here's mine from this weekend. They've finally finished with trail maintenance on Nose Hill and I have a 9 mile pathway run for the winter when I don't want to run cross-country. It does involve five street crossings though.

Nose Hill Regional Pathways

0-.3 uphill
.3 - 1 gradual down
1 - 2.2 steeper uphill
2.2- 3 downhill, at times steep
3- 5.5 uphill, at times insanely so, particularly when on the hill. Trail follows "Many Owls Valley" and at the 5 mile point is pitched at 10% or so.
5.5 - 7.5 (or so) rolling hilltop.
7.5 to home, downhill, at times steep down Porcupine Valley.

From home (3770 ft) to highest point (4050 ft), with a couple of 150 or so foot climbs thrown in.

Edited to add a panorama of the run down Porcupine Valley. Trail goes from left to right... you can make it out (just).

Crystal Cove, which is just south of Newport Beach. Beautiful views, great butt-busting hills, and and out-and-back takes you to the beach and back.
