what race duration is recommended after a marathon?<br><br>
I ask becasue I am about 5 weeks out from my first and want to target a race soon.<br><br>
my legs still feel like a whole lot of lead (no quickness yet), so I do not think I have a fast 5k in me...

A 50 miler or 100k is good: just don't wait more than a couple of weeks or you'll get rusty. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
