Even though I had to scratch from the Napa Valley Marathon, Mrs hup and I still went along to cheer for my training partner TJ and our friend Joe.<br><br>

Joan Benoit Samuelson was the keynote speaker at the dinner and also ran about 20 miles of the race as training for the trials in Boston next month.<br>

This was during the Boston Prep 16 Miler in Derry, NH on January 27th, 2008. If it looks like I'm in pain, I am. About 10 hours before the race, I collapsed in the bathroom and hit my back on the vanity bruising the ribs on the back on the right side of my rib cage.<br><br>
