Okay so who here is bored over the summer ~July 3rd and feels like having a fiesta at my house. I've got lots of rooms for tents and bathrooms available. Flounder and possibly RichardC of the Finish Line forum are coming, as well as many HS/college runner aquintances. I was really hoping Nettie and Basil, and am unsure how many other Midwesterners we have out there. Maybe Jen (BigGahoona?) and some other Minnesotans? We do have a 2 or 5 mile race that day as well, and if you felt like sleeping, the next day is a big parade with some kickass fireowrks that night.<br><br>
I been thinking about how fun these meetups are and how I want one too! <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> And if I get responses what is the consesus as to what I should tell my folks? <img alt="roll_eyes.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/roll_eyes.gif">

Dude, I don't know how keen your folks would be on inviting old ass peeps from the internet, but perhaps they are hipper than my parent's were when I was your age. I would come though if it turned out to be ok.

lol I'm pretty sure I could talk my folks into letting people bum on our property. Plus we always have so much extra food anyways. As long as the people who wanna drink BTOB and don't destroy anything I'm sure it would work.

Yes t'is my b-day so I suppose I should've asked them today and say it's a present or something. Oh well, I think it would work out. They know I know a lot of people through this site and they think it's neat with the meetups I've had so far.<br><br>
So far it's only been like 2.5...Flounder, WTPJ, and talked with Bazz and some others. I think seattle girl and maybe Jen? I don't remember was way back earlier this summer at like 11 at night.<br><br>
Oh I see your point quackers, you can fly in and join the fun as well. Maybe we could get a game of poker going just for you?
