There has been quite a bit of discussion this round on how to score skiing. I've given this some thought, talked it over with Roots and Hairy (who had the Commish job before me). The way I'd like to handle downhill skiing is as an alternative workout, 1 pt/5min, 12 pts max/day. I'm going to let XC skiing stay as General Cardio.<br><br>
In order to keep things fair, this is effective as of the beginning of the round. You may need to change your points in the database.<br><br>
The VRAA depends on the honesty of players. This is not an invitation for teams to audit other teams. Rather, I would like team captains to talk to their players if they have scored points for skiing to see if any changes are appropriate.<br><br>

Thanks Billy. That is exactly how I posted my ski points for last week's ski vacation. Believe me, skiing in 20 inches of fresh powder all day long easily justifies the 12 points alt. workout one hour max!<br><br>

I spent many years skiing in the Rockies with season passes. Yes, it can be work pushing down the hill or challenging the moguls, but an hour of alternate should be the category.

I changed my entries as per your ruling. I only scored my points for the time I actually spent skiing, which is definitely equal to cardio, but I respect your ruling. End of story.
