Well... ottytrain1:

That wasn't nearly as bad as I expected! I pretty much slept through it! The Prep had some dicey moments but the procedure itself was cake! And I have pictures to prove my head isn't up there...

OK, pass the pizza!! Now back to training!

We can now say there's nothing up there for you!

Glad the procedure went well.

How funny! That's an outpatient center for BIDMC, right? They're our customer, and they printed your 'picture page' out of our software. I'm actually working on a project managing software implementation for their big new Inpatient GI center right now.

So they found a diverticulum? Nothing else? That's great!

Well, when do you get the report ... does this mean you're all "clear" ... nothing abnormal, well at least there? That's what we want to hear ... I've had two of them done though and slept through both, like you ... prep was the worst part.

Anyone ever have a polyp?

Sally, I'm guessing that he had no polyps. Otherwise, he'd probably have pictures of polyps on the scanned page at the top; the doctors almost always take pictures when they can.

Instead, he has "landmark" pictures: cecum, retroflexion in the rectum, and I think the fourth pic might be a diverticulum, though not positive.

LRR: I'm jealous ... I never got any pics and I tried really hard to stay awake after being given the anaesthesia so I could watch.

Diablita: How do you know so much? Super cool ... I just wish I understood what you wrote. I love medicine. My parents would have been happier had I become a doctor instead of an actor, though I did play an obstetrician and delivered Dean Cain's wife's baby in a film. (anyone remember him from "Lois & Clark"?)

Tithers: Do you still have those pics? You can post them under the title "Don't open this thread"

I don't have them anymore...they got lost somewhere in the shuffle

But-if you go to DeKalb Medical Center, get my file, I know the exact same color photos are in the folder. I showed them to everyone who visited...they were really gross.

If anyone wants to know... C-Diff bacteria is white!
