Ok, so I'm thinking about setting up a meetup EZ group run for Saturday before the marathon.

Anyone in? morning / afternoon? If we do early-mid afternoon, then there is plenty of time for everyone to get back and get cleaned up for dinner. You certainly don't want people to see you all sweaty-like!

Locals - I'm thinking meet at the Art Museum, out and back on the drive? Thoughts?

So maybe start at 3:00 at the Art Muesum. It's out and back so you can pick your own distance.

Someone posted about running with an elite (and some other people) that Saturday and I signed up for that. I think it meets at the muesem, but whatever, I could certainly run later if any slower people decide to join in.

I'd be interested as long as I don't have to drive anywhere.

I feel...the need...for, uh, slowness. I'm taking it easy myself, so if we get a slowpoke contingent going, I'm up for it.

If we meet at the Art Museum, this is about 1 mile from City Hall (and hence most downtown hotels). It is a short cab ride if you don't want to walk / run there. You wouldn't want to drive because the parking there is worse than where ever you came from!

There is also a cool coffee shop at 23rd & Fairmount (maybe 3-4 blocks) from there.

I was kinda thinking of a little run in Delaware Saturday morning, maybe 2-3 really slow miles. Ill be running in NJ and NY on Thursday, and obviously in PA on Sunday so I thought why not, Im this close to Delaware why not get 4 states in on the same trip. Maybe Theia could recommend some places for me to run.

I'm IN as well. Just tell me where to be and when. Better yet, lead me there at the designated time.

There is a nice greenway trail if you look at the top part of this map near Thomson's Bridge. It's not that far off 95 and really pretty. Maybe a 4 mile drive down Naamans Road.
http://www.destateparks.com/bcsp/Bra...Park%20map.pdf

That's where I do pretty much all my long runs. Frankie, that's the trail I mentioned to you... soft on the feet and legs and very flat (where I will take you anyway... there are some miserable hills in other sections).
