It is pretty here, I just miss not being in the middle of nowhere sometimes...I just started running this year, so I'm not up to that distance yet, however, from the races I've done in this area, the group that puts that race on is awesome. Really supportive fun people, and it really is a beautiful place to run. You should do it!
There is a group from here that usually does it, so I'll be sure to let you know if they are coming up this year. Where in NJ are you from? I was born in Toms River but grew up in Bucks County
I used to run there all the time when I was running regularly. I am just coming back from knee surgery and am having trouble getting restarted. I like the Pawlings road out and back (6 miles total) and the newer trail that runs up to Perkiomenville. The 5 mile loop I do not like so much because it is concrete. I'm more of a trail runner. But it's good for hill running.

The Perk trail has markers every so often and a map online to tell you how far between each point. I've been as far as a little beyond Spring Mountain and it is a nice run. I much prefer that than the other way!!

That is the ONLY thing I miss about my job. I worked the southern end of the county so I was always near one of the farms. Now I gotta drive 45 minutes to get my fresh mushies!! But it's worth every mile.

Now they're starting to trickle in! Welcome, all!!

Shan, I did Caesar Rodney a couple years ago. The hills in Rockford Park suck. Is this your first one?
