Philadelphia Marathon 2008 - Any one want to make it a Gathering?

OK, it's early, but you have to prepare for these things - Only 51 weeks on Sunday, so get training.<br><br>
Would anybody like to consider a small gathering of 30's and friends (and interlopers), around the races in Philadelphia towards the end of November - I heard somewhere that these sort of gatherings take place and one or two people have a bit of fun - Any takers?<br><br>

It's easy peasey for me to get to Philly so count me in. Of course, I'm willing to travel other places too. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"><br><br><i>Easy like Sunday morning...</i>
I live here, so I'm in <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
I could be persuaded to do Philly again next year although I'm thinking NYC right now.
I'm totally in for Philly. I'll be doing the Full next year! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
Sounds like it's possible that you, Bob and Trevor may all be in for NYC next year -- we could have a mini-meetup as I'll be in as a guaranteed entrant again. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">
Doh, she said it in public, she'll be running her second marathon next year.
OK Frankie... wierd observation- this was your 1111th post and you made it at 11:11!!!!!!!! What could that mean?????????????????????<br><br><img alt="" src="http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/maccabeth/frankie.jpg" style="border:0px solid;">
I've got a guaranteed entry as well! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/hello2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="hello1">
Looks like all the locals are in, count me in too.
Whats really weird is on my end, that post was made at 9:11. In either case, im buying lottery tickets today. Maybe its my lucky day. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
Can I get a portion if you win? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">
I'd be totally down for meeting up again. And next time I might actually....ya know....run something!
I'm going to reqest it for my schedule with Cif Bar next year - that was the most rewarding race for the faster pace groups because I actually had a number of people with me in the later miles! And I might try to get PacerWife to consider the 8k or HM.
Now I need to convince IronHubby to NOT sign up for IM Arizona in 2008. It's the same day as Philly! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="sad2">
I thought he'd take another shot @revenge in Lake Placid?
He is. But they are adding a second IM Arizona in November 2008 so they can then eliminate the April race and hold it in November every year... the same weekend as Philly. He is seriously considering signing up for it for next year. He's been wanting to do 2 IMs in the same year for a while now.

My brother is going to race IM Lake Placid...he's really gearing up his training and going for a huge PR. We'll see how that goes. His wife did IM AZ this year, and they were telling me about the two IMs there next year because the schedule change.
