Have you guys heard about this story?

I am sure that caring for a child with significant disabilities is an enormous challenge, and I feel much compassion for families in this position. But I am shocked that this kind of solution is not only offered but taken. . .under any circumstances.

What do you think of this?

I'm not sure what you can't understand about the treatment being shocking. But then I don't really think that's what this post is about. . .is it?

I think there have been many good and very thoughtful comments here and I appreciated very much the insights people shared. I hoped I didn't come across as judgmental in my first post, but I realized I probably did and thought better of coming in and justifying my position. Because I'm not sure I do have any justification for feeling that way. Especially after considering Sierra's posts about the subject.

You? Here? Now? You're just being an asshole. Which is surprisingly unmoderator-like behavior. But whatever. Typical of the way you've been humping my leg lately. And for the record, I wasn't being sarcastic in your beliefs thread. I was responding sincerely. But I'm finally realizing it's just not worth it with you.
