<p>I crashed on my ride in this morning.  I've been begging for advil and tylenol around the office.  Sucky day for it to happen - I have a job interview this afternoon.  I think I'm going to hurt like hell tomorrow. </p>

<p>Troll#1 called yesterday to inform me about his newly-discovered pain threshold....um, this coming from a kid who's had stitches 4 times, broken bones, slamming into rocks while climbing, etc etc , blah yadda blah:</p>

<p>Hadn't planned on stopping [no helmet, no pads, just longboard in the back of the Subaru]...but there was this big lovely fast nasty hill...</p>

<p>hours later, his EMT buddies from work had cleaned (aka SCOURED) his wounds with washes, hydrogen peroxide, and scrubbing...goop, bandages, blah blah yadda yadda</p>

<p>He told me he had to scream and swear and bite down on his leather belt while they cleaned...oh yeah, SCOURED his back,chest, arms, legs....but NOT the face.</p>

<p>He's pretty much miserable right now. <snort></p>

<p>Lucky that a massive total-body class 5 road rash is all that happened. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif" style="width:15px;height:15px;" title=""></p>

<p>  The worst part about road-rash incidents like this is the fact that usually you know they're going to happen - and you know that the longer you put it off the worse it's going to be. And yet you still keep trying to recover.</p>

<p>fortunately I don't have class 5 road rash.  After assessing the damage yesterday I came out of it pretty well.  I have a bit of a click in my shoulder and I ache all over, but my raincoat has no holes and my bike is fine after I tightend up the bolts on my rack. </p>

<p>Mediocre.  I did well on the soft side, but didn't do so well on the technical side.  I suspect they will go with a more traditionally educated person unless the other candiates were a bunch of dogs.<br><br>
