I've decided to see if we can generate some income from an ad in the forum area.<br><br>
We get 10% of all sales that result through this advertisement. I feel a little 'guilty' for placing it there - because my intent was to keep ads out of the forum area. I do think this is an ad members will be ok with since it is specific to our sport.<br><br>
I'll let you know how it goes with updates. I think our members will be ok with this one - but if you hear anything whatsoever, please let me know.<br><br><br>
I am in 'talks' with a possible sponsor for our site and have offered them this location for their ad. If this one does well, it'll help us sell the sponsor on a commitment for the ad. If I get the sponsor, this ad will move to the main page.<br><br><br>

I had to open IE to see them because I use Firefox with Adblock normally.<br>
But they aren't too bad.<br>
ETA, you only see the Amazon one on the front page which is good. It's a little too much but not so bad cause you don't see it all the time.<br>
And the RoadID is nice and like Altoids said a good and IMHO a product that everyone should be wearing.

I plugged it in the daily on Masters and there are a bunch saying "oh, always meant to get one, asked for one for Christmas and didn't get it....will ask for my birthday" I hope you see some revenue from it soon!

I need one and will order via the ad so you get the revenue. I also tried to promote WHY people are seeing a few ads on the Masters daily. I am getting vibes from at least one person that he's not crazy about them (but I could be wrong - just the gut feeling I get) so I tried to explain WHY you made this step and made a blanket statement that Rich and/or Sierra would appreciate any feedback because that's the only way you'll know if people are okay with it or not. Personally, I think the ads are subtle enough (not flashing noisy ones like at Active) that it should not bother anyone.
