I mean really... it's a losing battle. Can someone explain this?

I figure we'll just take a nuke and drop it on the house soon as the kids leave for college.

p.s. I am NOT a clean freak. I just prefer to

a) have a PATH to get from one place to another

b) Find my crap

c) Have all lilliputions living in my house be able to find THEIR crap

d) Not have a colony of mice/bugs/other freeloaders living in my house

e) have the house not stink

just sayin

I am not a clean freak, but can't deal with disorganized clutter house. You don't want to come visit my house especially when mommy is in a bad mood - every piece of lego and DVD on the floor would get tossed outside. I just don't want sH%t all over the house. I have a particular issue with DH leaving empty yogurt cup and such on the coffee table, my office desk, etc. I try to close my eyes in our/kids bedrooms, until every other Thursday night - before a cleaning lady comes.

Agree. And keep stuff. And keep adding stuff.
