We had a very busy and good weekend. Today I am hoping to take Zoe apple and pumpkin picking. I know a lot of schools are off, just hoping it is not too crowded. With our string of two+ months of rainy weather, i feel like i need to jump on a nice day just in case this is it!

Morning.

Meri, i wish we had just a tiny bit of your wet weather. It is incredibly dry here. Everything is just so brown and blah. Yes, I know it is Fall, but the lawns are just parched which means the trees/shrubs are too. Not a good way to go into Winter.

our weather was like that a couple years ago, major drought, with our well drying up at one point. i have not run in a week. i am just in a rut. A lot of stress right now which prevents me from running (feel like i do not have time to run) but running helps stress, it's like a catch-22.

We are super dry here too....the farm pond looks to be down at least four feet! We can see all the "underwater" muskrat holes now. And the legs of both piers aren't even touching water. Oy!

Only good thing is that the farmers can get in to cut the field corn.
