Dear UPS, 
You have had our package from Germany sitting in Kentucky for over 2 weeks now. When the heck are you going to let it continue its journey so that we can get our products? I know that you tried to blame it on customs over the phone but the customs issues were resolved 2 weeks ago when both us and the shipper called. I am starting to get upset!

Dear New Employer, 
When you hired me 4 weeks ago you promised "next to no travel" and "maybe a trip or two within the first couple of months". Now, you want me to be in El Paso 75% of the time "for the forseeable future". Of course I didn't believe you when you said "next to no travel", but 75%? Seriously? What gives? Please accept this as notice that I'll do the travel thing for a while (2-3 months max) because I know it's best for the organization, but quality of life is way more important to me than this friggin' job.

Yes, it is. I triple <heart> PTs and go there at least once a week. But I was meeting a friend tonight we usually end up at Starbucks. It's the only time I ever go there (when I am meeting her). I think we need to change that. It was gross.

Dear Parents of Petri Dishes, I mean first graders, 
Please keep your kids home when they are sick. Your little darlings share their germs with me, and I am very, very, very tired of feeling lousy. So far this school year, I have had 5 colds, 1 bout of stomach bugginess, and now something new.

Dear Annoying Lady I Work With, 
Update: your opinion/recommendation that I should get pregnant soon did not factor into my (and DH's) decision to get pregnant anymore than anyone of the seemingly hundreds of other people who said the same thing. If I got pregnant every time someone told me I should, or it was time, then I'd be on my 1126th kid by now. 
The fact that you think that your "idea" is original and that you are all puffed up with self-importance, as if you really had something to do with it, is really, really annoying. I'm tired, and achy, and hormonal and thus, my ability to deal with you without causing you physical harm is severely compromised. 
In summary; STFU.

When you asked me if I was feeling better and I said "Of course, I wouldn't have returned if I wasn't." I was not making a comment on your habit of being at work sharing the germs that are making us all sick. 
I was being passive-aggressive about letting you know that I do not approve of such behavior in an intelligent human being. Wear a g-d surgical mask or something. Gah!

Dear Mom, 
It's not all about you. Sorry the delivery and subsequent hospital stay of the baby didn't fit into your plans of how last week was going to go. I'm sorry you felt we hurt your feelings by locking the keys in our car and asking you to bring us the spare keys. It's just, well, I hadn't held my baby EVER and we were distracted. Sorry you think I'm too old to have a baby, that is a reflection on you not me. Please stop hurting me. Please stop drinking...

Dear Postman, 
I've lived in the same house for 21 years but for some reason you've started delivering my mail to a house on a different block. Were the cookies I baked you last Christmas really so bad as to prompt this kind of treatment? While it's nice to not find bills or junk in my box every day, letting stuff pile up at my neighbors isn't such a good idea either. Besides, there are a few things I'd rather they not see. 
Can we please be friends again?
