One of my grand nephews is in jail again.

<p>Y'all remember I used to always talk about the grand nephew I took to the Georgia Tech football games for several years?  Trying to instill some interest in him to go to college or at least take some responsibility for getting ahead in life?  Anyway his Mother and I helped get him through a boot camp school so he could graduate a couple years ago after he was caught with a weapon (knife) on campus during his senior year.  Since then he has had a few minor scraps with cops (driving violations, girl friend problems  mostly) and gotten himself locked up a couple of times. </p>

<p>Anyway I often search the local Gwinnett mug shots each morning hoping not to see him.  I'll be darned but he's in there this morning for theft by deception and receiving stolen property. </p>

<p>I am not going to lift one finger this time to get him out or assist him in getting out.  Ever since he turned 18 a couple years ago he likes to throw up to his Mother and I that he is 18 and we cannot tell him what to do.  He's right about that.   Let him tell the Judge that one.   I'm done.</p>
