I'm trying to compile something in Matlab (similar to C, if that helps), and it uses a bunch of data from images on my computer. However, with the switch to Linux, all of my images, which were saved either on Macs or PCs, are now not showing up. We've determined that the endianness of my images is giving me problems.<br><br>
Is there a way to generally convert big to little endian and vice versa? I would like to do this either in a shell or in Matlab itself, but I can't find the commands for it for either.<br><br>

I think I might have just found a Matlab command which might work -- swapbytes

My matlab skills are seriously lacking, but it does make me giggle to repeatedly type "why" into the command line.
