It will be my 30th birthday. A new decade. A new age group. A new gray hair or something.<br><br>
So crazy tri peeps...how shall I commemorate the beginning of my 3rd decade?<br><br>
I need some ideas so I can get the Evites out!

I spent my 30th at a hockey game w/ my mom. I was supposed to attend with my longterm boyfriend, but he so kindly broke up with me exactly one week before my 30th. (My mom was a much better date for the game, anyway!) <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

Find a race and do it. Even if it's the weekend before or after your birthday. That's what I always like to do, although I must admit that I also typically go on a trip. Last year it was Clearwater for the 70.3 World Championship. The year before it was Texas to run the Texas Twenty w/ProutyBoy and attend the MLS Cup. The year before it was off to Miami for my Miami Man, my very first half Iron and the race that got me hooked on this amazing sport. The year before it was California to run a 5K and 10K an hour apart and then attend the MLS Cup. The year before...<br><br>
Birthday's are special. They are your day. Do something awesome. Celebrate life, liberty, and all that you enjoy. Because you only get so many of them. So make them good!

I'm fortunate that Timberman always falls on my birthday so that's how I celebrate now. I'll be 38 years young and will be in better shape than I was at 28, 18 or 8.

I raced my son on my birthday last year. Bugger beat me by 3secs! He snagged 1st in his AG, I snagged 2nd in mine. Not a bad way to celebrate a birthday!

Last year I did my first century for my birthday.<br><br>
I usually do some sort of race.<br><br>
I'm not into girlfriends and spa stuff...<br><br>
I like to get in trouble and have fun...and do things...<br><br>
Oh...my dad and supahawt gf will also be in town the weekend before

Every one forgot my 30th last year except my mom so I celebrated this year with a HUGE party and didn't invite any of the co-workers that forgot.<br><br>
And I signed up for an OLY. It's in June so hopefully the lake will be thawed out by then.
