DW and I are drinking a delightful little sparkling rose from France (not Champagne). $15, 7.5% alcohol, and pure strawberry fizz. Happiness in a bottle! Also went great with our turkey, potatoes, and broccoli for dinner, but even better with the chocolate truffles for dessert. Bring on the next bottle!!

Anyone else drinking fizzy tonight? What is it? It's okay, beer drinkers are welcome, too (just this once).

I drank some apple juice with my supper after our shopping excursion to Walmart. And now I'm about to go to bed.

Well... Glad someone asked... We abandoned our children with the neighbors and then had a nice dinner at a local eatery. My wife had a seared salmon steak with mushrooms and something green (spinach?) while I enjoyed pan roasted venison loin with risotto and little Italian onions (cippolini)... We then stopped at a friends house for some calzone and a few beverages and then we rescued our kids... Uh... Rescued our neighbors and now we're ready to party!!

I'm on Miller Lite. Here's the good thing about Miller Lite - I can't get drunk on it. The bloat factor kicks in before I get hammered. Self limiting! How can you beat that?!?!?

I thought I was the only one to get the beer bloat. I can't get drunk on it either.

Is beer bloat when you have to pee more often than you can drink enough to get a nice buzz or drunk?

Mr. Otter made some tasty margaritas in our new Magic Bullet that we got for Christmas. Ok, so the Bullet was really for making baby food, but it does make a nice cocktail!!

Who said anything about going out??? With a well-stocked cellar (a.k.a. the "Crawlspace", you're ready for any occasion!

Now if I could just find some self-limiting wine...
