G'mornin', TW. Well, the orthopedist would like me to get physical therapy to keep my leg muscles balanced, and says biking/elliptical are okay now, but running should wait a couple months. The advice seems a little conservative to me, but I'll go with the PT and try to talk her into an earlier return to running.

Huh, what?

Y'a mean HF, right?

Sorry to hear about the ankle, Johnny. Hope it heals soon. I found that the more I sprained them, the easier it was to come back from the sprain. Mind you, I think I have no ligaments left!

Hi HF..... I think we all have that tendency when things seem to be going well. Be careful, girl.

Hi KS!

Got in 6 miles on the TM before having to leave for my meeting, with 2 miles easy, 3 at semi-tempo, and 1 cool down. Haven't exactly been doing any speedwork, so will be easing in verrrrrrry slowly,

Hi all....Kudos to everybody....that should cover it.

I roll my ankle all the time too Heme, yesterday was the first day trail running in the custom orthotics. They have a heel cup, causing my foot to sit a little higher in the shoe, probably contributing to the ankle roll............just to be on the safe side, I'll try the hilly road loop next few times I run. That is, if it ever warms up a little.....18°F this AM, had to put the heater in the garage next to the pressure tank switch.

Here's hopin' you're back at it sooner than you think FO

Rolling my ankle is one thing I have never had a problem with thankfully.

Did an easy hour on the eliptical that still felt hard after yesterdays run.

8 miles for me tonight. No problems thanks to sticking to a 3-mile progressive warmup. Hope I'm burning off all the Xmas goodies I can't resist at the office.

Rolling my right ankle - well spraining it badly really - three times in a row as a teenager was the start of my "bad foot" problems. Oh well, the orthotics keep me on an even keel.
