qUAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

So my good friend/old roomate and his mean horrible SO just got engaged. I was afraid this might happen as they're kind of compulsive people...serious off and on for awhile, decided (2 years?) into it that they werent ready for a bi-racial relationship, then just got back together and got engaged like a couple weeks later. She's the biggest control freak I've ever met, they fight at least once a week, he used to be a fun guy who loved to party with us, then pretty much vanished off the face of the earth for the last year and a half of college, as she was very domineering of his time and sucked the life out of him. Even as a roomate of his last year, I felt like I barely saw him!

My other roomates feel the same and are planning on a wedding crash, since there's a good chance we'll be conveniently left off the guest list. My money is still on the wedding never actually happening, but it's good to be prepared!

He pretty much knows how we feel about her, but that hasnt really changed anything. The only real move here I guess is to let him figure it all out for himself. Though the temptation to smack him on the head will always be there.

FWIW: the girl is from Jersey, that should help you comprehend the depths of her crazyness

I happen to know some lovely people from Jersey.

FWIW - there is nothing you can do but stand back and watch the show. If any of you try to interfere you're just going to alienate yourselves from him even more. You've got the right idea - if he's going to figure it out, he will.

And honestly, the problem here isn't that she's a crazy biatch. The problem is that apparently, he doesn't care. So it's not her fault she's evil. It's his for accepting her behavior.

Dude.

It seems to me that your only beef with this woman is that when she's dating your friend, he doesn't hang out with you any more. This doesn't make her a controlling bitch. It could just be that he prefers her company to yours.
