Monday - 35 mins elliptical with arms, and 10 mins yoga stretches.
That's it so far. I have a lot of PT sessions and meetings this week so it may be lighter than usual, unfortunately.
I expect that I'll do some mileage on Friday and Sunday, with yoga on Saturday. Thursday will probably be weights and stretches and elliptical. Tricky trying to fit everything in....

Susan
forgot to mention that the gym had a sale on fitness apparel this morning so I bought a really cute pair of new yoga pants with the slits up the back of the calf. More expensive than I usually would have spent but boy are they cute.

OK brief on Life: A week ago Monday Brooke 4YO GD had another seizure, 3rd this year, she was kept in hospital til Thursday for observation and til she completely recovered from the sedatives that were administered in the first hospital she was taken to. I got sick with nasty yucky cold Friday . . . better now but not completely whole and then today Brooke's dad had an emergency appendectomy today. They could use a bit of a break.
So running has been minimal

Sat 5K was the first for BOMF guys, 3 did very well 21m, 22m and 23m not bad for a first race everyone had a great time. lots of pics were taken and even some TV time. also another CR joined the group . . she is much younger than i and mostly posts in the CH but she is also a friend of Lioness.
I did not race this but ran with one of the guys.
he has only been running 4 weeks and finished in 31.xx and was very proud and happy . . . PRICELESS

Is this Patrick my favourite (former) Protection Islander and BOMF man!? Any updates on the BOMF gang?

Oh, and just so you know I'm not turning into a fluffy marshmallow while I'm on the DL, I will turn loose the Easter Bunny should you not do your tallies at week's end.

Hi SS!
Thanks for doing this.
I only had 9 miles last week.
I have no plan for this week.
My "procedure" has been postponed. Doc says "two or three weeks".
(Trying to coordinate so that both docs scrub in for this wondrous event. meh.)

Total running: 9
Total walking: 5.8

This week?
Who knows?

Yea! I beat Rose by one mile! (Hi Rosie!)

How dumb was I to take a slack week last week? I have a race at the end of THIS week! Oh well.

So let's see, make something up.

M - 9M. Done. 7:15 pace. Too fast for easy, too slow for tempo.
T - slack
W - Run
Th - Run again
F - slack
Sa - easy 2 or 3
Su - Donnelly's Fast Five. Eat big lunch after.

SS -
Thank you for the thread. I just peeked in and saw my name, else I'd a never replied. Best of luck with the calf, active recovery I'd say. But I was recently wrong on that, so disclaimers everywhere.
Yes, one and the same.

BOMF is growing rapidly, since starting in July we are up to 3 shelters now. first group is running 4 days a week with a long run of 11 miles. First race is this Saturday "Dash for Democracy" 5K, Anne is the race director, then 11/18 some of the guys will be running 1/2 marathon others will be doing 8K . . . I will be doing marathon but Anne will be in Thailand running a marathon that she schedule before BOMF was born.
