Good Morning,

My alarm was all messed up so I didn't wake up at the right time. Time get my butt out the door for my run and then watch my son head off to middle school. DD starts 3rd grade today. Gawd!

Later.

Good luck with the first-day-of-school craziness, fb!

I will probably pop out to school this morn and unpack/set up/read mail/work in room for a bit.

(we start next week)

I slept like *gak* last night because the PortyBed has been elevated ~6" to help Mr. Porty with his acid reflux issues.

Medication and diet changes over the past few years have sorta kinda helped, but not really.

So now the gastro doc wants him do go with the elevated head trial.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Repeat to self: I love my husband. I love my husband.

The alternative is for me to sleep in spare room for the next few months? years? forever?

Anyone else here NOT sleep in the same room as their spouse?

I've moved, on occasion, due to his snoring, or if one of us is sick, or if I have insomnia.

Morning :)

Porty, sorry about the crappy sleep.

I might have Friday off, depending on some things, other than that, nothing new under the clouds here.

Morning.

Stomach issues kept me awake last night. Nothing to write home about, but it too will pass...pun intended.

I need to get out for a run this morning. But fear I will have a Scooby/Porty issue on the trail. Gak.

first day of school for the kiddos here! I'm feeling snazzy in my new $17 banana republc pencil skirt and ruffled top from kohls...let's hope I still feel this way after two classes of 40 9th graders!

I actually slept fairly well...first time in a while. As it turns out....getting up at 5:30 is way easier when you are asleep by 10:30!

Good morning! My sister was here for the weekend, and we had a great time.

We're having some internet connection trouble. On Wednesday evening, we're supposed to have cable internet set up. Right now our connection is sloooooooooow.

Good morning! Slept like poo, but I am sooooo excited, because after our morning errands, we are taking Zoe to the zoo for the first time! it is a smaller zoo that caters to small kids, not the large city zoo. Should be fun. Hoping the weather holds out.

Porty-- if this works for your DH maybe two twin beds pushed together instead? I had a patient who needed a certain bed and her DH did NOT like the bed she was prescribed so she just got a twin and he got a twin and they pushed them together :)

so... I never even saw yesterday's "company". I went to bed at 10 and put in earplugs. Apparently they arrived shortly before midnight.

porty--hubby and I haven't slept in the same bed for a good year or two. He's a restless sleeper which kept me awake. Works for us.

Sons 2 and 3 started school today. Son2 went to public 2nd semester last year. This is son3's first day ever in "real" school. Although he wouldn't admit it, he was nervous! I'll start home school with son4 this week. Son1 starts college next month.

Good morning, peoples!

Should be a busy week. My assistant network admin is in a class all week, so I'll have to be taking support calls (people have to be really desperate to call me for help - I'm the mean one!).

On a bright note, I actually ran last night, for the second night in a row, and my legs feel really great this morning!

My kids just started school on Friday, so getting them started this morning was rather challenging.

4BoysMom - which of the sons is the latest one from the picture thread?
