And you, too, Dan.

I did a nice and easy 6.4 miles this morning. I reflected a bit on what I am thankful for, and then got a bit nostalgic about how fast time is passing. It was a beautiful morning for a run.

Happy Thanksgiving Jebba and Dan.

I got out for 5 miles in 44:14(8:51). I think the temp was anywhere from 10-12* this morning. My feet were a little cold at the beginning of the run, but not so bad at the end. Overall it was a good run.

Happy Thanksgiving!

kfuller - nice job in the frigid temps. I'm not ready for that yet

Jebba - time does fly! good job on the run.

Dan - enjoy the turkey!

5k turkey trot for me this morning. 40F, breezy with some drizzle. I managed to win my AG and get 6th OA with a 18:24. The streak of hardware continues! My splits were 5:55 / 5:58 / 5:57. I forgot how much 5ks hurt! It was real tough going in the last mile and my split was faster than expected. There was no one around me since I'd passed the guy behind me around mile 2 and the kids in front were running in the 17s. Last year I got out kicked into 2nd AG. DW also won her AG in 22 mins and change.

RA - Great job. Congrats on the hardware.

Kevin - 10-12? Ouch. And I was griping at 14!

Jebba - Namaste indeed! And yes, the time doth fly! I was on iTunes last night reminiscing over old Beatles, Stones, and Eagles stuff. Man, that was just a minute ago.

Dan - Enjoy your Turkey Day

RA - You are in some shape right now, that is awesome!

Kfuller - nice job in the frigid temps.

Jebba - well done, namaste right back at 'ya!

DS was coughing all night so I was on my own for the Turkey Trot this morning, which I suspected would be a recipe for disaster :) Wound up 7:07, 7:37, 8:14 (with a couple of walk breaks!?) for 23:40 altogether. Guess after five weeks off and no speedwork in months I need just a bit more training (OK, maybe a lot). Still, the hamstring and leg felt fine during and afterwards, and for that (along with many other things), I am thankful.

I've missed you guys! I figured once running worked its way back into my day I should remember to head back to my running family.

First run in I don't know how long...at least a week and a half. School will be much more manageable for the rest of the semester, so I'm looking forward to start training consistently again. 39mins with my high school coach and his kid. Super windy and lots of crusty snow from last night's rain.

I hope you all had a great day and a great evening.

Yeah, you'd have to stop training for a semester to fall to my level. However, it looks like I'll miss you as we are heading to England for Christmas. If anyone has advice on having a toddler on a plane for 8-9 hours then please forward it over.

Oy... busy couple of days! Headed up to Grandma's yesterday. Busy evening helping my aunts prepare for today. Up early for a run. Had planned on 10, but that just didn't happen. Realized today just how small my home town is! When I remembered to be 2-3miles was actually only a mile or so, so my planned route came up WAY short. Oh well, quite the enjoyable long 7, with many trips down memory lane.
