What are they?<br>
The "rents" and I will likely stay in and maybe have some "snappy"<br><br>
Note: Snappy = champagne, cranberry juice, peach schnapps yuuuummmm<br><br>
We tend to play down this particular celebration...no need to be on the road with all the other crazies.<br><br>
We always have pork, sauer kraut and mashed potatoes for dinner, too.<br><br>

Hmmm.I was invited to 2 places...one downtown...one not downtown.<br><br>
I don't like being on the road w/the drunkies.<br><br>
If I were to go and have "fun" we'd have to stay overnight...which means putting these guys in jail...<br><br><img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v314/soeur/TheRash043.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br><img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v314/soeur/TheRash039.jpg" style="border:0px solid;">

No big plans here....Mr. Otter is going to the Rose Bowl, so it will probably be an early night for us. Not to mention that the Little Otters go to bed by 7pm. We could go to our neighbor's party in shifts, I suppose. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

That would NOT be fair.<br><br>
I got a great pic of my parent's cat "being a door stop" and "reading." As soon as I can get my fire wire cable, or maybe see if dad's will work with my camera, I'll post them.<br><br>
There are people all over VA (where mom and dad live) who want to be their cat if they come back in a 2nd life.<br><br>
Or, maybe it would be good to be Tither's dog?

mom named this cat "Timothy." Not too out of this world....until you realize that their FIRST cat was also named "Timothy." Mom figured that she'd be old and forgetful, and would likely call the 2nd one Timmy, anyway....."it might as well be his for real name." How's that for parental logic?

Growing up, we had a cat named "Tom." It seemed fitting, because he was a Tom Cat. Then, my dad, a Veterinarian, did a little snip, snip. Then we changed the cat's name to Timothy. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

it's a wonder any pets wanted to stay at your dad's place.

We're at my in-laws, so we'll just be hanging out. Probably drinking a little and playing poker. We're real party animals. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>
I am going to attempt to track down a spin class tomorrow in the AM.

We are doing our second year in a row out at our beach condo. With two little kids it's pretty hard to go out and besides it's just to crazy going out. We get noise makers and party favors and ring in the new year New York time so the kids don't get to bed to late.<br><br>
Also a new years tradition, steak and crab for dinner!!!! YUMMY!!!

'rents having folks over to the party house for eats, drinks, and merriment. Pretty low key all in all.

We've been with a group of friends in downtown Boston the last few years... Look like that's fallen through this year but we've still got Grams on the hook to hang with our boys if required so... We've got a few options...
<ul><li>A chaotic get-together with kids at friends' place here in town</li>
<li>An adult party in the next town over</li>
<li>A celebration of our own at home with our family</li>
<li>Out for dinner with our family and then the adult party</li>
<li>Or <img alt="confused.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/confused.gif"></li>
</ul>
We can't decide.

Not too much - just dinner with sister and her husband and likely a champagne toast early as I'm known to fall asleep wherever I'm standing by 10pm. In-laws will have dd overnight, so at least we'll get to sleep in a bit!
