Wanna start one kiddos? I've been thinking about how AMAZING it is I haven't plumped like a frank this winter so far (there is time, of course!) with as bad as I've been about my workouts and as crazy work has been...

Shall we?

I'll start
today: 232lbs
Goal 2/1 - 230lbs
Goal 3/1 - 228lbs
Goal 4/1 - 226lbs

Very modest goals. I want to nail 'em. Come on folks, let's keep each other honest and fat-free this year!

We all know I'm chunky...I'm not posting my weight though

The people who need to be "in the know" have a clue...I think CS is the only boy apart from Mr T who knows what the scales says (said). Although...death spin guy doesn't ask me how I'm doing everytime he sees me...his first question is..."How's the weight?"

im game. im not posting my weight either, but ive gained 10lbs since the begining of october. some moral support wouldn't hurt while i do this.

feb 1: 5lbs < current weight

mar 1: 10lbs < currnet weight

april 1: 15lbs <current weight

may 1: 20lbs < current weight

i really dont think the activity is going to be the hard part. the eating part will be. and im not sure what effect my thyroid hormones will have on the process.

I'm game...
not posting either...
but, if Jan 1 starts at 0....I'd like to be oh......
(what's reasonable?)
I'll have to run this by my trainer AND start to work with a dietician possibly.....
Tithers...do you like working with one? Does it help?

-20 by the end of the year....the marathon training will help with that. BUT, the key will be to keep it off after the 'thon.

255 as of today

2/1- 240
3/1-230
4/1-220
5/1-210
6/1-200 then hold for rest of year.

If i can get in the groove like last year. I should make this with no problem.

I am doing the atkins diet like last year but this time its gonna be all organic. Once i hit 200 i will follow what my nutrionist wants me to do. I have been having bad dreams in which i seem to die and in everyone the doctor says he could be alive if he just lost the weight faster. I am not sure if that is my subconscious trying to tell me something or not.

I did very well this holiday season for a change. I actually lost weight.

I started out the year in January weighing 194. I'm now at 169. I worked on weight loss early in the year to get ready for a HIM, then let it slide a bit. The past 3 months I've been running 50+ miles weekly. This month I've only missed running 1 day - Christmas.

I'm not really working on losing weight at this point, but it would be cool to lose about 10 more pounds by the time I get ready to run a marathon in May.

I will play along too - as long as the game is going my way!

I don't have lots of stats, but I know the first week of 2007 I was 135.8-137.2.

I have been as low as 122.6 in the past few weeks, but last Friday the scale said 125.4 - YIKES. I gained 2.8 lbs in precisely 1 week! I was 125.0 the Monday before Thanksgiving, so that has been my baseline "don't go over this during the holidays" weight, but I was 123.6 a few days before the Monday before Thanksgiving, so that should really be my benchmark.

I have 2 big races at the beginning of 2008: Houston Marathon (1/13) and IMAZ (4/13).

I'd like to go into Houston weighing 123, as that will be a solid 10-11 lbs less than last year when I ran it.

I'd love to go into IMAZ at 120, but I realize that might not be possible. If anything, I'd like to be the 123 that I hope I can maintain. I was 130 at IMAZ last year.

Oh, and I'm F, 5'5" if anyone cares.

I'm in! I have gained 7 pounds since summer. My goal is to lose 10 pounds.

2/1 - 4 pounds
3/1 - 4 pounds
4/1 - 2 pounds

I have got to stop eating all of this crap! At least the holidays are over now. I can fill my cupboards with lots of healthy foods. And my training plan will start soon so that will help me get my butt in gear. I have been pretty good about running in the off season, but that's about it. I need to get back on my bike!

I'm totally in. I still have about 14-15 to get back to pre-babies weight, but I'd like to get about 10 under that. (and I'm sooooooo not posting what I weigh right now)

So...I'm looking at -1/week I guess - seems doable.

0.5 to 1kg a week I guess - that's what they tell you to do isn't it?

If I give up the Coke and chocolates and take a packed lunch to work it shouldn't be too hard. I've got alot to lose though. Need to lose it if I'm gonna do my goal race at the end of the year though.

Okay I 'll play because I NEED to be accountable to somebody. Feel free to give me a lashing if I don't follow through.

Goal is 25lbs by July 08. I don't care how much each month so long as the scale is going down.

I have been saying "I want to lose 7 pounds" for the past two years. So I've maintained my current weight since last participating in my last Maintain Campaign.

It would bring me down to my ideal race weight. To lose those 7 pounds I have to really work at it. I don't eat a lot of junk, but I eat enough of it to not lose weight. And I love to cook and make good food that I like to eat. Plus, I have an intense aversion to feeling and being hungry, so I am never far from food.

Oh, and I loathe the idea of counting calories.

So...

As of January 2008: 117
Goal: 110

(I am 5' tall, by the way)
