<span style="font-family:'"';">There Will Be Names. While I have initially assigned team names as in the past, I'd like for teams to have names other than letters of the alphabet this round. I'd like teams to come up with them as a group but the responsibility will be that of your team captain. They will be the deciders. I will not require teams to have a name but teams that do will be given 100 bonus points. Here's the rules:

*Needs to be something like a word, i.e. no mere letters or numbers
*Let's keep it to under 30 characters.
*No special characters that might mess up the database like: ( = + & @
*Names will be due to me by Tuesday the 11th. The deadline is meant to make sure we get this done. I will be lenient in enforcing it.

Theme Weekends: As part of the "game" aspect of the VRAA, I'm going to offer some bonus point opportunities. Each weekend (except for the final weekend) will have a "theme" activity. If you do an activity enough get 1 VRAA point, you also get 5 bonus points. There is no requirement that anyone do any of the theme activities; it is just a way to score extra points. The themes will be on weekends (Fri-Sun). You can only earn 1 theme bonus per weekend. One other quirk: VRAA scoring rounds normally. To earn these bonus points, you must do enough to score at least 1 full point.

1st weekend (3/7-3/9): Alternate Workouts (b/c we are starting in CA)

2nd weekend (3/14-3/16): Cycling (wide open spaces of western US). Bike trainers and stationary bikes will also count.

3rd weekend (3/21-3/23): Swimming (crossing the Mississippi and seeing the Great Lakes)

4th weekend (3/28-3/30): Running (for the race to the finish) As always, treadmills and walking count.
