I got some toe covers from Performance Bike a couple of weeks ago, and they cut the cold airflow from going thru my shoes really well. Things being relative, I'm wearing these things and it's 54 degrees when I start riding.....you may be in shorts and tri tops in those temps where you live!

http://www.performancebike.com/shop/...slisearch=true

Oooopppps.. CLARIFICATION for me...
this is for swimming. D'Oh! I forgot to say that, no?

I want to get some mid-50's swim time in practicing for Alcatraz and I figure I can't look any dumber at this point (although I aspire) so if I can't look good... I might as well feel good
Son and I got Performance booties. B!tch to get them on the shoe, but once on, you can just peel 'em back enough to get your foot in and out. They keep my feet toasty warm. Last week we rode when it was in the teens. No frozen piggies!!!

I love my Brooks beanie. Works great for both run and bike. Son, however, hasn't found a hat that he likes. I bought him yet another at Performance yesterday. Hey--I'm getting quite the collection out of the deal!

Oh... never mind........

Got my neoprene hood & swim socks from Promotion. Picked them up while shopping for a full suit.

Fairly good size selection from what I saw in the store so they should be able to hook you up.

Blue Seventy for both. Bought them and used the cap in 58 deg water in IMCDA. I decided to skip the booties at the last minute and was glad. by 800-1000 meters I was plenty warm and was glad that some heat was releasing out of my feet.

The cap is great, very comfortible and even though not adjustable. If I remember they have a small, and large. I have a big fat head and used the large, perfect. The footies are great, used in practice swim, feel like a sock, grip on the bottom. Just decided not to use in race.

http://www.blueseventy.com/products/accessories.html

You have NO idea how appropriate it is. I threaten my kids with duct tape all the time! Even did it once on an airplane when we were stuck waiting 2 hours to get on the plane, then 1 hour IN the plane, and I told my oldest (5 or 6 at the time) that if he didn't stay in that [email protected] seat I was gonna duct tape him to it. His response? "Oh yeah, you don't have any duct tape!" to which... perfectly timed... an airplane mechanic walks down the aisle with the BIGGEST roll of ducttape you have EVER seen I could have kissed him, I swear. DS5-6 went bug-eyed and shut up and didn't move from his seat until we landed. 2 hours later and about 3 hours past his bed time. It was AWESOME

Actually, I have quite a bit of electrical tape on my bike (holds a pad on the aerobar stem to keep my aerobottle from rattling) but no duct tape at the moment. Mostly because I didn't have any black duct tape handy. A guy's gotta bow to fashion sometimes, you know?
