<p>I've seen some folks at races with a Nathan vest that doesn't have a backpack. It looks like the 020 with just a pocket in the back. I don't see it on the website anymore so I can only assume it's discontinued (or not a Nathan product!)</p>

<p> I wore my 020 this weekend without the bladder mainly for the front pockets (camera, snacks, salt) and a place to stow gloves/hat. It worked so I guess I shouldn't complain but the more minimal vest seemed like a better option.</p>

<p>I should add that I've never bought from runningfree but they seem to be the only ones that have it...maybe because it is overpriced by about 30%..</p>

<p>Thanks for the link. The price does seem kind of high. I guess that's what happens when it gets discontinued. At least I have the model number now. I wasn't hitting the right search keywords apparently to find it.  I was excited to find a few $25 hits -- which are listed as sold out AFTER you add them to the cart. Bummer!</p>

<p>Not sure where you guys live, but yes the price on runningfree is a little high, but also remember they are in Canada, if you are in the USA our money is worth more up there so really it balances out with the exchange.</p>

<p>I have two of the vests and bought a <a href="http://www.nathansports.com/our-products/hydrationnutrition/add-ons-and-replacements" target="_blank">1.5 liter hydration bladder</a> to carry in the back pocket.</p>

<p>This past April when I was at Fleet Feet in Sacramento (whichever one was sponsoring AR50), they had supposedly bought the last of those vests as Nathan was no longer going to be producing them. Don't know if they're coming up with "something better" or what.  I love this setup, though, and use it on all my LRs.</p>
