I told you a few days ago that a friend from my choir gave me some samples of things to try. Boyerdavea kindly let me know that they are products from what used to be Amway.

I've tried two of them....
so far, the rating is 1 eh.....1 BLECH!

The eh: is the bubbly energy drink that's lemony flavored. It's got a funky aftertaste that makes my tongue feel fuzzy. Going down it's not bad, though. Not great, but not bad.

The BLECH is the "sports drink" flavored fruit punch. Just gross in my opinion. I had some, then tossed the rest. Ack!

As the others get tried...more reports will follow.

Must have been developed by the same guys that developed Gatorade. When Stokley-VanCamp first made that stuff it was almost as if it was lemonade made with seawater.

Snipped from highlights from the history of Gatorade
http://www.amanet.org/books/catalog/0814472990_Timeline.htm
"October 1, 1965: With the approval of the Gators’ head coach, Ray Graves, the colorless, awful-tasting concoction gets its first real test for effectiveness in the heat of competition, using the freshman squad as guinea pigs."
